Released in 1971, Diamonds Are Forever is the seventh film in the James Bond saga and the last with Sean Connery for Eon.
Directed by Guy Hamilton, it marks Connery’s return as 007, on the trail of a diamond-smuggling ring that leads him to Las Vegas. There he foils the plan of his old enemy Ernst Stavro Blofeld, who wants to build a space laser weapon, while crossing paths with fence Tiffany Case, played by Jill St. John.
