Roger Moore Biography

Born on 14 October 1927 in London, Roger Moore first made his name on television, where his charm and British composure worked wonders in The Saint and The Persuaders!

In 1973 he took over the role of James Bond with Live and Let Die and became the most prolific actor to play 007, with seven films — a record. From The Man with the Golden Gun to The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy, he played an elegant, spectacular Bond full of self-deprecation, right up to A View to a Kill in 1985.

Knighted by the Queen and a devoted UNICEF ambassador, Sir Roger Moore remains one of the most beloved faces of spy cinema. Our framed Fine Art photo prints celebrate his so-British elegance: portraits and iconic scenes, in black and white or, for some, in colour, for a living room, an office or a private bar.

Frequently asked questions

Which Roger Moore films and portraits do you offer as framed prints?

Our collection covers the Roger Moore era, the most prolific James Bond with seven films. It features Live and Let Die (1973), The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only and Octopussy, not forgetting his television roles in The Saint and The Persuaders! The most requested prints are Moore in a tuxedo, his spectacular action scenes and his self-deprecating portraits — each a numbered limited edition.

Are the Roger Moore photos available in black and white?

Yes. Most of our Roger Moore prints are offered in black and white — a look that superbly showcases his composure and his so-British elegance, notably his portraits in a tuxedo. Some images are also available in colour, to recover the period tones. Each print is produced on Fine Art photo paper then hand-framed in solid wood in our in-house workshop, with a black or white mat of your choice. Black and white remains the most requested by collectors for a chic, timeless display.

Are these Roger Moore prints authentic, and in what sizes?

Each Roger Moore photograph is a gallery-grade piece, not a simple reproduction. The print is produced in a numbered limited edition on Fine Art photo paper, then delivered with a certificate of authenticity (COA), a hologram and a traceability QR code that guarantee its origin. Two sizes are available: 70×50 cm (Starck Original) or 60×40 cm (Starck Medium), hand-framed in solid wood in our in-house workshop, with a black or white mat of your choice. The piece arrives ready to hang and protected for transport — the level of care that makes it a genuine collector's piece.

Does a Roger Moore print make a great gift, and do you ship to Europe?

Yes, it is one of our most gifted pieces. A framed Roger Moore print — the most elegant and most British James Bond — delights lovers of 007, English humour and elegance, and makes an ideal gift for a birthday, a housewarming or a wedding. The piece arrives framed, numbered and ready to hang, with its certificate of authenticity: a present as elegant as it is instantly presentable. We ship in tracked, insured delivery to the United Kingdom, Ireland and across Europe, in reinforced packaging that protects the frame and the glass.
