Christopher Reeve Biography
Born on 25 September 1952 in New York, Christopher Reeve became a global star by playing the most famous of superheroes.
Richard Donner's Superman (1978) made him the face of the Man of Steel for a whole generation: presence, charm and, above all, a unique talent for distinguishing the hero from the shy Clark Kent. He reprised the role in three sequels while pursuing a career as a stage and screen actor, and moved into directing.
Paralysed after a riding fall in 1995, he became an admired and courageous advocate for medical research. Our framed Fine Art photo prints celebrate this icon: Superman in flight, Clark Kent and portraits, in black and white or, for some, in colour, for a bedroom, an office or a living room.
