Peter Falk Biography
Born on 16 September 1927 in New York, Peter Falk became a beloved figure of the small screen thanks to an unforgettable character.
From 1968, he played Lieutenant Columbo, an investigator in a rumpled raincoat with a cigar: beneath his absent-minded manner, he trapped the guilty with formidable intelligence, punctuated by his famous “Just one more thing…”. The role, which he held for more than thirty years, earned him several Emmy Awards and worldwide popularity.
A well-regarded film actor (Wings of Desire, A Woman Under the Influence), he remains forever associated with Columbo. Our framed Fine Art photo prints celebrate this iconic character: raincoat, cigar and portraits, in black and white or, for some, in colour, for a living room, an office or a home cinema.
