About this photo

Batman and the Green Hornet: The Legendary Encounter of 1967

This iconic image captures the historic meeting between Adam West and Van Williams during the crossover between the Batman and Green Hornet series in March 1967. Produced by William Dozier for 20th Century Fox Television, this unique collaboration marked the first televised meeting between two masked heroes from the DC Comics universe, filmed at Fox Studios in Los Angeles.

The two crossover episodes, "A Piece of the Action" and "Batman's Satisfaction," drew record-breaking viewership, with over 35 million viewers. This collaboration between Burt Ward, Yvonne Craig, and Bruce Lee in his role as Kato remains a cult classic of 1960s television, cementing the golden age of superhero series.

This fine art photograph is hand-framed in our studios and available in a limited edition of 30 copies. Printed on fine art paper in a 70x50 cm format, it is enhanced by a solid wood frame and protected by 3mm crystal glass. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity featuring a hologram and is shipped within 48 hours.

A heartfelt tribute to the legendary partnership between two masked television icons.
