Private Life 1962 - Brigitte Bardot
A Very Private Affair (1962) — Brigitte Bardot
The artwork. Pensive and luminous, Brigitte Bardot reveals herself in an image of great delicacy. Far from the tumult, she lets the sensitivity of a woman behind the myth come through.
Read the story of the artwork
The film. Directed by Louis Malle in 1962 and partly shot in Spoleto, A Very Private Affair (Vie privée) follows Jill, a young woman devoured by fame. The role, very close to Brigitte Bardot's own experience, gives the film a particular intensity and ranks among her most personal performances.
For your home. A sensitive image for a living room, bedroom or intimate interior, to give to lovers of auteur cinema. Continue with the Brigitte Bardot collection and the Stars & Cinema universe.
