The film. Viva Maria! (Louis Malle, 1965) was one of the most adventurous shoots of Brigitte Bardot's career, made in Mexico alongside Jeanne Moreau. The meeting of the two greatest French stars made this western a work apart, joyful and feminist ahead of its time.
