About this photo

Goodfellas: Robert De Niro in Martin Scorsese's ruthless world

Filmed primarily in Queens and Brooklyn, Martin Scorsese’s *Goodfellas* stars Robert De Niro, Ray Liotta, and Joe Pesci in a meticulous portrayal of the New York underworld. De Niro plays Jimmy Conway, inspired by the real-life gangster James Burke, nicknamed "Jimmy the Gent." For the role, the actor studied Burke’s mannerisms and gestures based on accounts from Henry Hill, the real-life informant who inspired the film.

The film grossed $46.8 million at the global box office and earned Joe Pesci the Oscar for Best Supporting Actor. This collaboration marked the fifth time De Niro and Scorsese had worked together, following *Mean Streets*, *Taxi Driver*, *New York, New York*, and *Raging Bull*. The film is now considered one of the greatest gangster films in the history of cinema.

This fine art photograph is hand-framed in a limited edition of 30 copies. Printed on fine art paper in a 70x50 cm format, it is enhanced by a solid wood frame and protected by 3mm crystal glass. Each piece comes with a certificate of authenticity featuring a hologram and is shipped within 48 hours.

An exceptional piece that captures the dramatic intensity of a cinematic masterpiece.
